I first approached Marcin at Natural Colour Painting & Decorating in 2012 to work on a heritage apartment building project. His professional knowledge of paint and building types, processes and finishes meant I could rely on him to source the best natural paint products for the job, to repair and prepare an older building, and to paint it to a very high standard. I also commissioned him to paint some decorative graphic elements above each apartment door, which he did beautifully. I have since worked with him on many projects, and am always bowled over by his level of professional knowledge, commitment to using natural products, and willingness to research and source the best natural paints for each job. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any size project where quality, professionalism and sustainability are important.

When I first met Marcin I remember feeling this enormous sense of relief - finally, here was a tradesperson that completely understood my vision of keeping my home as safe and as toxic free as possible throughout our renovation. He understood my objective of creating a beautiful space that didn't compromise the health of my family. Marcin's communication both before and during the project was fantastic. It was great to be able to put things down in an email or have a productive chat. Nothing was a problem, and he always had the time to talk over any questions or concerns I had. Like every project, there were a couple of minor hiccups, but due to the good communication and honesty, they were resolved quickly. And none of them had anything to do with Marcin's ability or skill. I have been left with a bright, lovely home where the care and attention to detail that Marcin and his colleague Tom took really shows. My home finally has the wow factor and I know that it's all been done safely and without hurting the environment. Marcin Antosz Trading as Natural Colour has recently painted the hallway in an older style post war house at 46 Arrol Street, Camp Hill,a house I own Marcin was faced with a difficult situation as the walls to be painted had been previously covered with wallpaper & laminated sheeting. The walls are plastered and were rough and the paint was cracked and peeling. Unfortunately the previous painter did a sub standard job and defects showed within 6 months. The finished result is of a high standard and I am very happy with this job. I can recommend Marcin as a reliable, competent and highly professional painter.

We chose Marcin because of his general painting experience and especially his expertise in natural paints. He completed a large job for us which included painting a new first floor addition, renovated ground floor, existing old rooms and exterior. He also painted a number of pieces of joinery including kitchen cupboards, renewed old stained timber skirting and oiled timber cupboards and shutters. Marcin used mainly Bio paints in the interior, and Resene for the exterior. The oils, stains and lacquers were natural Livos products. We were very happy with Marcin’s expertise and professionalism. Being familiar with natural paints was very useful in a building/renovating situation, as he knows how the paints perform and could explain the choices in low VOC and natural paints for each job. He was willing to discuss choices especially in regard to colour and generous with his advice. He was always polite and considerate and accommodated our family situation. We are very happy with the job and the Bio paints look lovely. We would definitely use Marcin again for any paint job in the future.

We particularly chose you to work on our project because of your experience and knowledge of working with natural paint systems and timber finishes, as well as your ability to prepare the surfaces prior to application.
